Deepanjali Lamp Museum is possibly the only lamp museum of India. Located in Puthiyangadi, Kozhikode, the museum houses an extensive collection of lamps dating back to the 19th century including primitive brass lamps, wick lamps, indian heritage lamps, gas lamps, cart lamps etc.It was a wonderful experience to visit the Deepanjali Lamp museum. Mr. Prasad has rare collection of antic lamps and he spent quality time with us to explain the history and features of the lamps. It is a must place to visit in Calicut. Mr. Prasad will take you for a walk with him through the history of lamps.
