The fame of being the only drive-in beach in Kerala is exclusive to Muzhappilangad, the only place with the facility to drive 4 kilometres along the beautiful sandy Malabar seacoast. One can spend time here endlessly enjoying the sights and sounds of the waves and feasting on the tasty ethnic Malabar food from the many little shops alongside the beach. Having comparatively low undercurrents and being shallow, this part of the sea is ideal for swimming also. In addition there are facilities for paragliding, para sailing, microlight flight, boating and catamaran travel on this beach.
